# Ecommerce

Remove the cart and checkout, added by [`vela enable ecommerce`](/docs/enable/ecommerce).

### Syntax

```
$ vela disable ecommerce
```

### Options

- `-y, --yes` - Skip the confirmation prompt

### What it removes

- `src/lib/cart.svelte.ts` and the cart components
- The `/cart` and `/checkout/success` pages, and the `/shop` pages from [`vela generate shop`](/docs/generate/shop), which import the cart
- The cart button in the navbar

With [orders](/docs/enable/orders) enabled the command refuses to run, since the order pages and handlers import the cart: run [`vela disable orders`](/docs/disable/orders) first. Nothing is changed by the refusal.

### What it leaves

- [Payments](/docs/enable/payments), and its keys
- The shadcn-svelte `sheet` and `badge` components
- Pages of your own that use `<AddToCart>`: remove those uses, or they no longer build
